Our Training School on “Basic methods to purify and investigate the discrete functions of human neutrophils” in the majestic city of Verona Italy, ended successfully. 5 trainees from 5 different countries (3 Inclusiveness Target Countries) participated in this face-to-face hands-on training event.

Three full days with fascinating lectures that stimulated interesting discussions by faculty members and visiting professors (Prof Nicola Tamassia, Prof. Silvia Uriarte, Prof Patrizia Scapini and Dr Valentino Bezzeri) as well as interacting lab training by excellent trainers and Tutors (Dr Sara Gasperini, Dr Marta Donini, Dr Federica Calzetti, Dr Barbara Mariotti and Dr Elisa Gardiman)

All the trainees worked on the bench under the supervision of their trainers and gained valuable experience and new skills.

Many thanks to our hosts Prof Marco A Cassatella and Prof Nicola Tamassia and their team, in the Department of Medicine in University of Verona, who helped the Training School run smoothly. Special thanks to all of the speakers/trainers/ tutors and all the Trainees that contributed to make the event a memorable experience.
