Dear EuNet-INNOCHRON colleagues,
We are excited to announce the Call for Applications for our Training School on Molecular Diagnosis of Congenital Neutropenias!
The "Training School on Molecular Diagnosis of Congenital Neutropenias" will take place in Petah Tikva in Israel, 04-05 July 2022, with Prof Hannah Tamary’s and Orna Steinberg-Shemer’s as our Host/Local Organizers.
Don't miss the opportunity to apply and attend the Training School with full reimbursement of the expenses by EuNet-INNOCHRON.
Because a limited number of trainees can attend, please see details on the application process as well as the agenda below.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
Purpose of the Training School:
The Training School on molecular diagnosis of Congenital Neutropenias is organized by the COST Action CA18233 European Network for Innovative Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Neutropenias (EuNet-INNOCHRON https://eunet-innochron.eu/). The Training School aims at covering aspects on molecular diagnosis on Congenital Neutropenias including molecular biology techniques such as Sanger Sequencing and NGS.The participating scientists will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge via interactive lectures from experts on aspects related to molecular diagnosis on Congenital Neutropenias, familiarize themselves with protocols, discuss, and get hands-on experience on performing sequencing and interpreting their results.
The host of the Training School is Prof Hannah Tamary’s and Orna Steinberg-Shemer’s Department in the Schneider Children’s Medical Center, Petah Tikva in Israel.
To offer a high-quality hands-on experience, a limited number of participants will be accepted.
Deadline for applications: June 4th, 2022
Application Process:
- The applicants must send their application to Prof Hannah Tamary email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., Dr Orna Steinberg-Shemer email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and our COST Action Chair Prof Helen Papadaki, e-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., before the deadline June 4th 2022.
The application should consist of:
- A brief C.V.
- A motivation letter stating the relevance to their research and the value to participate in the Training Course.
- A letter of support from a senior Researcher/Clinician (preferably but not necessarily related to the EuNet-INNOCHRON project) from their home Institution where they are affiliated to.
- The applicants will be formally notified of the outcome of their application on June 7th 2022 at the latest.
Important Notes:
- The selected applicants will be sent a formal COST invitation to the email they have provided and instructions for reimbursement rules for the expenses regarding the whole travel.
