Current research interests

I have devoted my research career to study the natural course of congenital bone marrow failure syndromes with focus on congenital neutropenias in peadiatric and adult patients, including all genetic subtypes, Kostmann, syndromeSDS, Barth syndrome and GSD 1b. My main research interests are the long-term outcome of treatment with granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF), the identification of risk factors for the development of malignant transformation and the development of new treatment strategies for these disorders.
